Abstract: Due to the impact of the new coronal pneumonia, many national colleges and universities have been

implemented online teaching. In this paper, taking the college physics course of City College in Xian JiaoTong University

as an example, teaching explorations of how to effectively carry out online network teaching for training applied

talents are developed in ways of taking students as the center, starting from the teaching methods, teaching contents, assessment methods, student feedback and school coordination. All these reflected the teaching characteristics of“Guarantee basis,Pay attention to ability and Application”. Online teaching investigations through questionnaires revealed that 62.2% of the students were very satisfied with the online learning. It is proposed that a long-term and effective way to combine online and offline teaching and conducting teaching reform should be considered after the end of the epidemic,
